Your experiments so far are interesting, Apprentice. Primitive, apprentice, but they show promise to the main experiment.

Though you must unattach yourself from these humans.

I work with what I have. I am... not used to this.

... What do you mean?

Two of the potential test subjects, named "Samasu Souha" and "Saiga Aliester". You show too much attachment to them.

What viable research could we obtain from them? Isn't the doll enough?

The Doll has another purpose, Apprentice, you are well aware of this. I let you assemble it off of them because the details didn't matter. Sentimentality is a virus that infects science. Do not let your emotions interfer with progress, Wakahisa Noriko.

Aliester and Samasu are merely more labrats in the experiment. If they are subjected to your machine, you will not interfer in it's progression of the memetics. You and your two lab assistants are immune for consistency and to make sure the experiment proceeds as scheduled.

... Yes, it is. I apologize, sir.

... but why them? What purpose could the machine have affecting them? I can understand the memetic alteration of the rest of the subjects and the reason Hayagari and Shigeru are immune, but...

The Doll will serve it's purpose, just like the prototype serves it's purpose. Though your creation of that other girl's double is odd. There wasn't enough belief, Apprentice.

Because they are nothing. Science does not let emotion cloud results. There is nothing special about those two. Why you got upset about Samasu Souha is beyond me. They are to be tested like Isabel Marias, Faitayuu Onnifuji, etc. Frankly, I encourage you test them so that you can get past your childish emotions.

Or should I just digest you as was my original plan, Wakahisa?

... Yes sir.

I thought it might add an interesting variation to the hypothesis, theory, equation, what have you. Is it not smart to try and see what they are capable of? It just adds something.

... But... they were the first two to care, Sir. I hurt her. I...

You should not have killed the original test subject. You risked losing your assistants, and made the Prototype nearly obselete. If you keep up your emotional obsession with Saiga Aliester and Samasu Souha, you will be upset years of work and propogation, Wakahisa Noriko.

Ergo, experiment on them.

As well, the new variables do seem to be somewhat interesting, but I don't see a point for recreating the girl and her dragon. The mindsets aren't even identical, ergo it was pointless.

... He... was useless. Arrogant. He spoke too funny. People wouldn't of trusted him. The prototype is absolute, but good as an attack dog.

... But...

The point is to add confusion, create misinformation, to see how much can be changed. The world is unstable.

But you still damaged your assistant's psyches. You should remake them as you see fit.

And what use do I have for an attack dog?

Stop holding childish sentiment over labrats, Wakahisa. Or I'll just fix things myself.

Interesting possibility... I can see what... ah. Intriguing. You created it as an explosive catalyst. Very interesting, to compel other events to occur... This to that... Fascinating. I shall support the duplicate for now, despite the dragon's impairment.

Show me more, girl.

I... dislike that sort of thing.

A little muscle to direct, distract, and destroy threats is never a bad thing. It at least maintains the equipment and can stave off attacks.

...

Yes. My thought was, if you want to propely maintain both our experiment and Mr. Katou's plans, it would be best to... well, the best comparision is that I've set explosives at specific points to direct the events as we deem nessecary.

If we can keep control over these explosions, if you will, we can direct the experiment in a more correct position.

It is merely to control the experiment. The value of a human's rights is insignificant to me, Wakahisa.

I suppose we need to have some primitives when working with primitives devices.

Maintain control of yourself, Wakahisa, or I will replace you and take control of this experiment myself. I am doing this to see if you are fit for me. And because I take... interest in studying your mind.

An interesting conclusion, I myself would of forced the experiment to proceed as nessecary. But you are implying a need of creation of more of these "Dolls"? Costly. I am powerful, yes, but eons of sleep have weakened me, girl.

But your theorum isn't incorrect. It actually makes the work more sublime and intriguing.

... They have been working without question though, the need to change them is unnessecary.

It won't scumb to any radiation.

... Yes sir. But are you ordering me to do something to the two of them?

There are Duel Monsters, and we could always use Duel Energy...

Thank you, Sir.

I suppose so, but the reliability of their psyches is questionable.

Perhaps.

I am ordering you to not treat them as something special.

We shall see.

If they fault, I will fix it. When they show fault.

... Yes sir.
