*Onni, considering this to be a play and only that, already picks up on the almost archaic symbolism. The old man is well read and intelligent, whereas the young girl seems to be nothing more than what seems to be a servant. Onni leans forward in his chair, staring at the stage, his face lined with thought as he continues to watch the stage.*
